What We Do

it's 2020 and here's the plan

2/20/2020

It’s 2020 and we have LOTS to do! LWVCT is where you want to be. Passionate about issues? Take action today!

We need your help to take action on LWVCT issues. What we need:

1. Join the Public Issues Team: Let us know what your passion issue is and join the team. We will be monitoring legislation, writing testimony and advocating on League issues. Send an email and share your issue passion with Judy Lhamon, Public Issues VP.

2. Be a 10 Minute Activist: Click here and sign up today!

Want to see a big turnout for 2020 Elections?
Join the Voter Engagement Team: Help with the CT VOTES! Campaign to increase voter registrations, distribute more voting information and encourage ALL voters to Get out and Vote in 2020. The Presidential Primary is coming up fast, so join the team by sending an email to voterservices@lwvct.org and get ready to make it happen.

Want to use your creativity to celebrate 100 years of LWV?
Use those creative talents you have by helping LWVCT create an exhibit that recognizes the accomplishments of the League for the 100th anniversary. LWVCT Board member Joanne Moore has been combing through the League archives and has great plans for the exhibit. She would love to involve other Leaguers in this endeavor, so send an email to lwvct@lwvct.org and get your creative juices flowing for the 100th.
