The League of Women Voters of New Canaan Looks Forward to Celebrating the 19th Amendment’s 100th Birthday

​Passed by Congress on this day exactly 100 years ago, and ratified on August 18th the following year, the 19th Amendment granted women the right to vote. That’s a cause for celebration to us – and we’re counting down to the 100th Birthday of the 19th Amendment’s ratification in 2020!
