reminder: registration deadline to participate in the primary

If you want to vote in the Democratic primary on April 28th, you must be a registered Democrat. (There will not be a Republican primary; generally, the incumbent’s party does not hold a primary.) If you are affiliated with another party (i.e. Republican, Independent, Green) and want to vote in the primary, you must change your affiliation by January 28th, though the Registrars recommend doing so before the 21st. If you are an unaffiliated voter, you may register as a Democrat at least 48 hours before the primary. You may change your registration online. For more info call the Registrars at (203) 594-3060 or visit them at Town Hall, 77 Main Street.
